We’re back again with another real life bride blog. This week is the Camis’ who have already posted their wedding due to the current situation.
Married Name: Mr and Mrs Camis
Engaged Date: 28th October 2019
Wedding Date: 23rd October 2021
The future Mr and Mrs Camis have secured their venue, photographer and videographer, hair and make-up artist, florist, DJ and a photo booth for their evening entertainment. Unfortunately, the pandemic has caused them to amend their wedding date but we know their dream day will come soon enough! Their venue is the gorgeous Hintlesham hall in Suffolk. The country house hotel is stunning with it’s 16th century detail and artwork. The venue is open to the public as a hotel but it offers outdoor courtyard spaces alongside grand rooms for your wedding breakfast and ceremony. The future Camis have been able to secure the venue with exclusive use for their whole wedding day!
You may be familiar with the Camis’ Instagram account as they have over 1000 followers, the majority are fellow brides. Their favourite part of wedding planning has been making their own details with handmade crafts and being inspired by Pinterest and other brides on Instagram. One benefit of a postponed wedding is the chance to revisit all the things you originally said no to and see if you can incorporate them into your date. The extra time before your new date allows you to time to save money and make your own DIY elements to make your wedding even more incredible.
The majority of inspiration for their wedding theming has come from films, Pinterest and other weddings they have attended. These are great sources of inspiration and who doesn’t love watching a wedding film and pinching a few ideas? I would highly recommend watching Bride Wars, Bridesmaids and 27 Dresses to get in the planning mood.
While the honeymoon is still to be planned, we’re sure the Camis’ will head to Pinterest and Instagram for inspiration! There are so many hard parts of wedding planning especially during a pandemic so the future Mrs Camis would like to offer some advice to brides currently planning. ‘I guess it would be to not lose sight of who you are and why you are marrying your spouse. It’s so easy to get sucked up in the madness of wedding planning.’ We think this is fantastic advice especially in the current situation. Just remember the reason you are getting married and enjoy planning together.
Mrs Camis to be has her own blog and if you would like to follow her planning in more detail please feel free to check it out! Please find the link here – sbbc2020.wordpress.com/blog/
It has been a tough 12 months and looking after yourself and your family has to be your number one priority. While your wedding is something you dream and plan for what feels like forever, the person you are marrying will be there for you whether you get married today or next year. Enjoy your time together and no matter what, your wedding will be incredible.
We wish the Camis’ all the best and we hope they have an amazing day when it comes. Don’t forget to look them up on Instagram to keep up to date with their wedding journey.
